SEET Bi (feature documentary in development)

"Seet Bi" tells a story of searching and not finding. In the search for truth, justice and life the stories of a Senegalese refugee and a German anti-racist activist intertwine more and more in a strong outcry against deeply rooted structural and institutionalized racism in Germany. The documentary "Seet Bi" - which means "search" in the Senegalese language Wolof - becomes a search m0vement itself.  It's about the question of what a documentary can and should be today, challenging itself to take action, in the interplay between its own protagonist and observation.
